About Me

.

I’m a sucker for a good romantic story. I have a stash of romantic adventure novels. I believe in the power of love, and I love translating love stories into series of romantic photographs. When I hold my camera in my hands, I become a writer. I write your story, your love poems. I am your very own Cyrano de Bergerac.

.
Before I became Cyrano, I dabbled in all the other kinds of photography that interested me. I was a celebrated senior photographer and a sought-after head shot photographer. I did countless weddings and newborn photography as well. While I loved being a photographer, none of those experiences resonated with me. I found myself complacent, board, uninspired and ready to get a “real job.”

.

It was about this time I was introduced to boudoir photography. I have to admit, I was a little put off by it at first. For years, I was told I should stay away from that kind of photography because it had the reputation of being less than classy. “Boudoir” was something questionable men with cameras did just to get pretty girls to pose for them wearing almost nothing. However, once I investigated it, I was forced to re-evaluate my opinion. When I saw first-hand how liberating this seemingly taboo form of photography was, I had to know more. I had to try it.

.

My first boudoir session changed me. I suddenly knew what Leonardo Da Vinci must have felt when he showed the Mona Lisa to the woman for whom he painted it. I knew I had found my calling. Boudoir has allowed me to become more in-tune with women and how they see themselves, but more importantly, how they want to been seen.

.
I am a visual poet and my poetry is not inspired by financial gain. I’m not trying to attain wealth or attention. I’ve been published many times and while I am honored, I am simply not motivated by fame or fortune. I want to work for people who don’t want an ordinary photographer. I want to work with women looking for someone to say what they feel, but cannot express in words. I speak for them through visual poetry. Who is willing to invest in me and let me create images that beautifully illustrate their love poem. When you invest in me, you are not getting an ordinary photographer with the most popular camera. You are getting a unique, beautiful, romantic story that only I can tell. Your story will celebrate your sensuality. You will feel empowered. Years from now, you will reflect on this experience and the memories will come flooding back to you. These memories have untold value and that is why I love helping you create them.

.
When you are sitting in the dressing room sipping a glass of wine, listening to music, and having your hair and makeup done, you may feel anxious or nervous. I’m not sure where I learned how to calm people down, and I don’t know when I became a relaxed and easy-going person, but I do know when we begin the session, you won’t feel like you don’t belong . You won’t feel like you’re not pretty enough, or tall enough, or thin enough, or smart enough. To me, you will be a vision of beauty and grace. To me, you will be the words that compose the most romantic poem ever written.

.
Boudoir photography is my passion, but I am not a boudoir photographer. I am a poet and I use photography to create poetry. My role is to transform you into a vision of beauty by using my camera.

…..
When you look at your photographs, maybe even years from now, you will celebrate your relationship, not just with your loved one, but with yourself. You will see yourself for the beautiful creature you are in every breathtaking image.
